Function of the horizontal degreasing furnace production line
Horizontal degreasing furnaces mostly use continuous tunnel-type horizontal feeding, mainly used for powder metallurgy, MIM, cemented carbide, ceramic blanks, and hardware workpiece degreasing and degumming. They are key pretreatment equipment before sintering.
1. Core Process Role
Removes binders, paraffin, and organic additives from the body of the billet
Organic substances such as paraffin, PE, and PEG added during raw blank mixing and forming are heated, decompose, and vaporize in a segmented temperature-controlled furnace, preventing bubbling, cracking, porosity, and deformation during subsequent high-temperature sintering.
Removes lubricating oil, dust, and oil stains from the workpiece surface
Raw material powder and grease impurities introduced during the molding process volatilize at high temperatures, preventing excessive residual carbon, blackening, and substandard mechanical properties.
Low-temperature pre-firing
